Measurements / Quality Control

We have equipped our quality department with new measuring machines so that we can deal with the fast-growing movement towards quality control. One additional important aspect of measurement is the traceability this guarantees.

We interpret quality holistically, positioning it at the centre of our customers’ and partners’ business processes

Measuring laminations

We are able to check and measure cut laminations with 2D measuring machines and profile projectors.

 
 

Key data

  • Maximum possible full measurements on the Keyence equipment: 245mm x 295mm
  • We can measure separate sections on large laminations
  • Supplementary height sensors are available (e.g. to measure the sheet thickness)
  • Measurable and recordable form tolerances
  • Straightness, roundness and profile
  • Measurable and recordable position tolerances
  • Parallelism, concentricity and hole position
  • We can provide measurement logs in pdf format, if required
  • A graphic illustration can be provided for the deviation from profile tolerances

We measure in accordance with the requirements of the current GPS standards.

On request, we can also offer series measurements on components that we ourselves have manufactured

Measuring stacks

We aim to cover as broad a range of our customers’ wishes as possible, so we work with two different measurement machines. Both come from Zeiss and are designed for stacks of varying sizes.

 
 

Key data

  • Machinery for small to medium-sized stacks can measure stack sizes from 0.5mm x 0.5mm x 0.5mm to 400mm x 350mm x 400mm
  • Machinery for medium to large-sized stacks can measure stack sizes of up to 1000mm x 1000mm x 500mm
  • We can measure stacks weighing up to a maximum of 600kg
  • Measurable and recordable form tolerances
    Straightness, evenness, roundness and cylinder form
  • Measurable and recordable position tolerances
    Parallelism, perpendicularity, tilt, position, concentricity, symmetry
  • Measurable and recordable comb. form & position tolerances
    Radial run-out, total run-out, axial run-out
  • We can provide measurement logs in pdf or Excel format
  • A graphic illustration can be provided for the deviation

 

On request, we can also offer series measurements on components that we ourselves have manufactured

We also offer other services relating to quality control

On request, or following consultation, we also produce test gauges. The measurements can be entered into a 3D test log.

Of course, we also offer manual measurements. Calliper measurements up to a diameter of 2000mm, micrometer measurements to a maximum diameter of 400mm and height measurements with a Micro-Hite up to 450mm.
